We have just returned from a trip to The Lake District and we were fortunate to get some snow which made the entire place incredibly more picturesque than it already is. However, it wasn't long before it turned to grey mush and then disappeared altogether. This was taken en route from Ambleside to Buttermere (can't remember the exact location). It was snowing at the time so the blotches are not a dirty sensor but actual snow!
