I just had to photograph this. I hate the fringing around the roof though, despite using noise ninja. Any suggestions?

@danthro: Its the Gable end of a local Hotel, they are having a new exterior sign fitted. However, they haven't got round to it yet and all that's exposed for the time being are these strip lights! I think they should leave it as it is!
Bizarre. I'm glad you have left it to the imagination. I don't mind the fringing, I am drawn to the odd window covering and your treatment of it. Outstanding.

In a pinch on an image like this I would use photoshop to clean up the fringing. It doesn't bother me, but you asked.... I would mask off a straight line of the sky and just nudge it so it covers the roof a TINY bit. Then use the healing tool to let the sky color in the fringing. (there are many other ways to fix it in photoshop, but this was an easy way to describe)

@farmermarn: Cheers for that, I'll give it a go.
By the way.... I assumed the fringing was the silhouette of the roof shingles.
