Saltburn, Receding tide, Storm brewing.

Gloomy day on Saltburn beach. The tide was on its way out which gave the sand a mirrored appearance. The clouds over the hills looked ominous - we didn't stay long!
I like the lack of intrusion in this shot. Emptiness is something I feel drawn to. I have a quest to one day photograph 'nothing'. It may be an eternal quest but what the heck.
On another note, thanks to everyone who commented on the shots from the past week - the 'Misc_001' series. I still have approx 1000+ negatives in ring-binders from years gone by- all awaiting scanning. You never know, there may be a 'Misc_002' in the future...
