This was going to be in B&W but I decided to go for colour instead, not sure if it will be to everyone's taste... This was taken on Redcar beach last Thursday, a rare glorious morning, sunny and WARM ! It rained later of course.

Excellent! I think the blue sky gives life to the photo, the contrast on the concrete and the stones is marvellous.

I understand your original idea, and it is just how I would have approached this one. I also think that what you ended up with is really good, the not so saturated look suits this one perfect! /Peter

The picture is definitely strong... but I'm among those who would probably prefer it in B&W... especially since everything looks almost B&W except the sky...
