Cinema Steps

Behind the Cinema at Redcar.
Believe it or not, Redcar's Cinema is perched right on the beach, how it survives the elements thrown at it from the North Sea I have no idea, I'm surprised it still operates. This is taken around the back, what the door was for I don't know, maybe an old emergency exit. I was drawn to the textures and crumbling concrete, this part of the Cinema must see most of the high tides, and most certainly will take a pounding during storms.

I love the subtle use of colour but this feels a little over sharpened to me, possibly something to do with that intricate texture. Wicked shot though. A cinema on the beach? Me non comprende!
