This shot is composed of 29 individual shots! Probably my largest panorama to date. My computer actually crashed whilst trying to process the stitching together of the images, so I had to convert each image into quite low quality jpegs and set a maximum size for each conversion (which is why the low quality may be noticeable if you are using a large monitor). It still took 25 mins to complete the task though! This is Staithes, probably one of the most photographed locations in North Yorkshire. When we were there (3 days ago) it was cold, damp and miserable, I thought b/w was more apt for this one. My only gripe is the fact that I missed the bottom of the river off- I'll get that next time and break the 30 shot barrier!

Low quality or not, it's a great panorama. Yes, a pity about the bottom part, otherwise excellent.

Something different!! I´d never thought to stick a panorama on this blog. P.s Isn´t it always cold damp and miserable in North Yorkshire??

@Anthony: I'm only just starting to experiment with the format, so there may be more yet. And, yes mostly it is!

A magnificent pano of a beautiful community ... illustrates beautifully how the community has imbedded itself into the river's edge. Terrific work, Rhys!

Its great to see something totally different from the usual Staithes images. I can associate with the cold, damp and miserable!

Yes, I've seen many shots of this place, do they actually have a deigmated place for photogrs to stand on that hill? lol
This is a great shot, it works really well in b&w (the low IQ shows up in the clouds but is otherwise unnoticeable on my monitor). It is a shame about the bottom of the river being missing though.
